We have 2 services on Sunday morning – our 8:30 service is a more traditional service that includes singing to the rich hymns and choruses of the church accompanied by our gifted pianists. At this service we offer a children’s sermon known as "Kidz Korner" which is age appropriate and geared toward younger kids. The 11:00 service is a more contemporary service with music led by the Mount Bethel Praise Team, playing many of the more modern praise and worship songs. At this service we offer Children’s Church- a kid friendly time of worship and learning downstairs in our fellowship room. Both services regularly feature special music and both are equally Christ-centered and offer great sermons and insights into God's Word. After each gathering, we offer a chance to say “hi” to one another and catch up with a coffee break (sometimes we even have something to eat!)
Between services we offer Sunday School for ALL ages- from preschool on up! Our nursery and toddler room is staffed for all services and Sunday School. Just follow the signs located throughout the building or ask one of our friendly greeters at the door when you come in. Please note that Sunday School takes a break during the summer to give our hard-working teachers time to renew and refresh.
During each summer, we feel its a good time to provide a place and a time when everyone from both services can get together and worship as one church family. So beginning July 3rd we will worship together at 10am. Our regular 'two service' schedule will resume on September 11, 2011.
When you come, please take time to check out the bulletin board at the Welcome Center located upstairs for the latest information on what's happening here at Mount Bethel Church. Take a look at the Site Plan posted on the wall that shows our dream of creating a space to better serve a growing church and community. Take a walk down the hall to the Youth Office to see what our youth groups are doing. On the way, take a look at our Mission’s board and our community board, too. Exciting things are happening at Mount Bethel Church - come be a part of what God is doing in the Slate Belt!
