Mount Bethel Church conducts classes for 7th and 8th grade students meant to familiarize them with basic Christian doctrine as set forth in the Bible and understood by the church. Our primary goal is that students might understand and receive what God has done for them in and through Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3.18). The class is a two-year program taught by our pastoral staff that meets on Sunday mornings between our two services. Over the two-year course of study, students will read through two books of the Bible (John and Acts) and complete two workbooks that cover the 10 Commandments, the Lord’s Prayer, the Apostles’ Creed, and the Sacraments. The class is open to any student/family regardless of church affiliation. Membership in the church is not required. We want this to be a class that encourages faith within entire families, and to the extent we get to be a part of that process, we are grateful.
