Application for the 2024-2025
school year is now open

With the many choices available for early childhood education,
we believe Little Friends Preschool is a uniquely special place.

We offer:

  • A positive first school experience.

  • A loving, caring environment with a low student to teacher ratio, supporting a comfortable transition from home to school for both parent and child.

  • A fun, exciting and safe place to learn and grow spiritually, socially, physically, emotionally and academically.

  • Little Friends Preschool strives to be an extension of the home, not a replacement, with relationship-building for both child and parent.

  • A planned Christ-centered curriculum that incorporates the Pennsylvania State Standards for Early Childhood Education.

We aim for our students to leave with these truths being an integral part of who they are:

  • I am unique and special because God made me that way and He has a plan for my life.

  • I need to treat everyone as God's special creation.

  • School is fun!

  • School is a great place to be!

  • Learning is exciting!

She has dedicated her life to teaching and has had opportunity to work with children from nursery ages through to adult educators seeking to strengthen their classroom practices. In the church community she can be found volunteering in the nursery, working with children’s church programs, supporting Sunday School classes and volunteering during VBS week. Her resume includes a bachelor’s degree in education from Penn State University, a masters in Middle School literacy from Wilkes University and a PhD in the Philosophy of Education, with a concentration in curriculum and instruction from Northcentral University.
